Five Hospitalized after Car Crash on 5 Freeway near South Ditman Avenue

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 31, 2022) — Five people suffered injuries in a car accident on 5 Freeway at around 2:15 a.m. on Sunday, October 30.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle crashed into a home near the 5 Freeway off-ramp at South Ditman Avenue.
 
Footage from the scene showed the vehicle suspended in the air and embedded into the side of the home.
 
Apparently, the vehicle flew off the 5 Freeway and then crashed into a fence. Officials said that two women were temporarily trapped by the car as it hung over the yard’s fence.
 
In total, five people sustained injuries. Paramedics rushed them to the hospital. However, the conditions of those people are not immediately available at this time.
 
Officials released the driver of the car at the scene of the incident. They said intoxication was not a factor. However, they don’t know whether speed played a role in the crash. At this time, there had been no arrests made.
