Firefighters Respond, 2-Car Accident on 14th Street near Oro Dam Boulevard [Oroville, CA]

Minor Injuries Reported in 2-Vehicle Crash on 14th Street in Oroville

 
OROVILLE, CA (February 6, 2024) — Firefighters responded to a 2-car accident on 14th Street near Oro Dam Boulevard Monday.
 
According to First responders, the two-car crash happened around noon. For an unknown reason, a Ford Focus driver neglected to stop at a stop sign on 14th Street. Subsequently, the Ford Focus proceeded through the intersection and collided with a northbound Ford Fusion.
 
Upon impact, the Fusion crashed into a gate and a house while the Ford Focus caught fire. Soon after, responding firefighters extinguished the blaze before it got out of hand.
 
Fortunately, no one reported major injuries in the 2-car accident. At this time, traffic investigators have not revealed the cause. However, if anyone can help them, please call the California Highway Patrol.
