Tulare County Crash on Highway 99 Involving 2 Big Rigs

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (April 22, 2021) — A crash on Highway 99 in Tulare County led to a vehicle fire Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on the Avenue 120 overpass. Two semi-trucks collided in the said area that is between Tipton and Pixley.
 
The full details of the crash are not available as of this time. However, officials said one of the trucks caught fire after the crash and was fully engulfed in flames.
 
The other semi, a milk tanker, fell down an embankment and came to a stop near the railroad tracks. This resulted in trains rescheduling their travel for the morning. Additionally, the crash caused delays in traffic on Highway 99.
 
Meanwhile, it was not immediately clear whether there were reports of injuries due to the crash. The investigation, however, is ongoing.
