Authorities Identify Man Killed in Pico Rivera Hit-and-Run Crash

 
PICO RIVERA, CA (April 21, 2021) – Authorities identified the man who died in a hit-and-run crash Saturday night in Pico Rivera.
 
He was 29-year-old Fernie Lopez. His city of residence was not available.
 
Lopez’s death was reported at 6:30 p.m. on April 17 in the 9000 block of Reichling Lane, according the Pico Rivera Sheriff’s Information Bureau. He was talking with occupants of a dark-colored Chevrolet Suburban. When he walked away, the vehicle sped at him, hit him and then fled, authorities said.
 
Lopez died at the scene.
