DUI Driver Causes Fatal 3-Vehicle Crash at El Prado Road and Kimball Avenue

 
CHINO, CA (December 26, 2022)Fernando Aguilar was killed in a three-vehicle accident in Chino late Saturday afternoon in Chino.
 
The fatal accident happened around 5:38 p.m. at El Prado Road and Kimball Avenue. According to the Chino Police Department, a Chevrolet pickup truck rear-ended a sedan, driven by Aguilar. A third car was also struck after the initial crash.
 
Aguilar, a 27-year-old Los Angeles man, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
Two other people suffered injuries, police said.
 
Police determined that the driver of the Chevrolet, 42-year-old Joshua Moloney of Chino, was driving under the influence of alcohol. They arrested him and booked him on $1 million bail into the West Valley Detention Center.
 
Moloney is scheduled to appear in a San Bernardino County courtroom on Monday, Jan. 9, court records show.
