SAN JOSE, CA (December 26, 2022) — A man died in a hit-and-run accident near Bascom Avenue and Fruitdale Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 9:40 a.m. Sunday. Upon responding to calls of an injury hit-and-run accident, CHP officers arrived at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center parking structure. Officials found an unresponsive male at the parking structure of the hospital campus and later pronounced him dead at the scene. However, information surrounding the suspect or vehicle involved or what led to the accident was unavailable.
