Two-Car Crash in North Hollywood Kills 25-Year-Old Woman

 
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (March 18, 2024) – Emily Gonzales was killed in a two-car accident in North Hollywood early Saturday morning on March 16.
 
The fatal accident happened around 12:40 a.m. at Tujunga Boulevard and Sherman Way. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Gonzales was driving northbound on Tujunga Boulevard when she collided with another car heading east on Sherman Way.
 
As a result of the crash, Gonzales suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was a 25-year-old Sun Valley resident.
 
A man was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.
 
The driver of the other car remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
 
The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under investigation.
