Elias Johnson Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Western Avenue near 247th Place

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (January 4, 2024) — Elias Johnson died in a pedestrian crash on Western Avenue near 247th Place.
 
According to reports, the fatal accident happened around 11:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. For an unknown reason, a driver left the scene after hitting a 26-year-old homeless man crossing the street. As soon as the victim fell to the ground, two other vehicles ran over the victim. In total, three drivers left the scene of the accident.
 
Due to the crash, the victim, later identified as Johnson, passed away from his grave injuries. Officers would like anyone’s help in piecing together this hit-and-run and locating the drivers involved. If anyone would like to help the police, please call the Los Angeles Police Department.
