18-year-old Alexander Rejkowski Hospitalized, Philip Zweigle Involved in Bicycle Accident on Pine Drive near Highway 4
ARNOLD, CA (January 4, 2024) — Alexander Rejkowski suffered moderate injuries in a bicycle crash on Pine Drive near Highway 4.
According to San Andreas California Highway Patrol, the bicycle crash happened on December 27 around 3:00 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, 18-year-old Rejkowski crashed his northbound bicycle into a southbound 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara, driven by 73-year-old Philip Zweigle.
Soon after, CHP officers and paramedics responded to the scene to learn that the bicycle collided with the front passenger side of the Suzuki. Due to his condition, medics took Rejkowski to a hospital for treatment of moderate injuries. Following an investigation, authorities learned that neither alcohol nor drugs contributed to the cause.
