Elderly Woman Hospitalized in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run on Sunset Boulevard

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (March 18, 2021) — An elderly woman was severely injured in a hit-and-run on Sunset Boulevard at Carmelina Avenue on March 6.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident happened around 10:00 a.m. in Brentwood. For unknown reasons, an eastbound driver struck the woman as she was walking northbound on Carmelina Avenue.
 
Following the crash, the driver reportedly exited the vehicle and approached the victim. However, he returned to his vehicle and fled without identifying himself or administering any type of aid.
 
At this time, the driver remains unaccounted for. However, police have a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who could help identify the hit-and-run driver.
