Hit-and-Run Vehicle Strikes Elderly Pedestrian on El Camino Real in Mountain View

 
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (February 12, 2023) – An elderly woman was hospitalized in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash on El Camino Real in Mountain View Thursday morning.
 
The crash happened around 7:09 a.m. on February, just between Clark and Escuela avenues. According to the Mountain View Police Department, a car traveling eastbound on El Camino Real struck the woman and fled the scene.
 
The victim was taken by paramedics to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Mountain View police are actively investigating and seeking the public’s help to locate the hit-and-run driver and car. The car is described as a mid- to late-2000s Nissan sedan with passenger side damage. There is no description of the driver.
