BRAWLEY, CA (December 17, 2021) — Two people suffered injuries in an overturned accident on Dogwood Road near Carey Road on Tuesday, December 7.
 
According to reports, the solo-car accident occurred around 1:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, 18-year-old Edward Israel Munoz from Richmond, Texas was driving a 2004 Toyota on Dogwood Road, north of Carey Road, at an unknown speed.
 
Munoz then traveled to the right, off the roadway, and subsequently rolled. While overturning, the Toyota hit a utility post, according to a CHP report.
 
Both Munez and his passenger — 19-year-old Jose Luis Munoz Jr. of Brawley, California — suffered injuries. Soon after, paramedics reached the scene and brought both of them to Desert Regional Medical Center via Reach.
