UPDATE: Tony Wilhite Jr. Dies in Car Accident on 405 Freeway near 110 Freeway [Carson, CA]

Car Crashes off 405 Freeway in Carson, Driver Tony Wilhite Jr. Killed

 
CARSON, CA (December 17, 2021) — A man died in a solo-car accident on the 405 Freeway near the 110 Freeway transition on Monday, December 6.
 
The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office identified the victim as 39-year-old Tony Wilhite Jr. of Lomita as the driver who died at the scene of the crash.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal car accident occurred around 12:20 a.m. For unknown reasons, a Wilhite Jr. crashed off the side of the northbound 405 Freeway.
 
As a result, Wilhite Jr. suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, a 38-year-old Inglewood man riding in the same car suffered major injuries and received care at a nearby hospital.
 
At this time, officials have not released additional information. However, any witnesses of this accident should call the CHP.
