17-Year-Old Delilah Garibay Dies after Suspected Hit-and-Run on Highway 74 in Perris
PERRIS, CA (December 20, 2021) – Authorities identified 17-year-old Delilah Garcia Garibay of Perris as the victim killed in a rollover accident on Highway 74, Friday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on December 17, at about 8:45 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a gray 2004 Honda Accord became involved in a collision near Margarth Street.
The impact of the crash caused the Honda to overturn. Emergency responders had to extricate Garibay from the Honda. Then, a ground ambulance rushed the victim to Inland Valley Medical Center, where she later died.

Investigators believe that a hit-and-run vehicle caused the fatal collision. As per reports, a Kia Optima was towed and held as possible evidence in the crash. However, no arrests have been made at this time.
