Motorcyclist Eduardo Zaragoza Dies after Struck by Car on 15 Freeway in Cajon Pass

 
CAJON PASS, CA (October 10, 2022) – Eduardo Calderon Zaragoza was killed in a motorcycle accident in the Cajon Pass early Saturday morning on October 8.
 
The accident happened around 4:21 a.m. along the northbound 15 Freeway, about a half mile north of the Kenwood Avenue exit. According to the California Highway Patrol, Zaragoza was riding his motorcycle when he lost control and was thrown off.
 
After that, a woman in a red Nissan Sentra was unable to stop in time and struck him.
 
Zaragoza suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. He was a 30-year-old Phelan resident.
 
The female driver of the car remained on scene and cooperated with officers.
 
This fatal crash is still under investigation.
