Suspected Burglars Arrested after Police Chase Crash on 91 Freeway in Long Beach

 
LONG BEACH, CA (October 5, 2022) – Authorities arrested 23-year-old Dyllin Pressy of Las Vegas, Nevada and three other suspects following a high-speed pursuit on 91 Freeway, Tuesday morning.
 
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened on October 4, at about 7:20 a.m. Officers reportedly received a report of a residential burglary in the Walnut area.
 
A short time later, a black BMW fled from the area, leading officers into high-speed pursuit in San Gabriel Valley. After that, the BMW drove into East Los Angeles on the 210 Freeway and 5 Freeway.
 
As per reports, the BMW hit multiple vehicles during the chase. The impact of the collisions heavily damaged the vehicle’s bumper and right-front tire.
 
When the BMW reached westbound 91 Freeway, the driver – later identified as Pressy – lost control. The vehicle then crashed into the rear of a big rig.
 
Two suspects exited the BMW, jumped over the center divider, and ran across oncoming traffic. However, both were later detained, along with two more suspects.
 
When pulled over, slow down and patiently wait for further instructions. Cooperate and do not attempt to flee the scene.
