Dylan Sally Arrested after Police Chase Accident on Briceland-Thorne Road

 
REDWAY, CA (September 30, 2022) — Officials arrested 26-year-old Dylan Edwardknee Sally after a pursuit crash on Sunday, September 25.
 
At around 9:57 p.m., a Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputy on patrol in the area of Highway 101 near Garberville observed two motorcycles. Both travel at speed of more than 90 miles per hour and one doesn’t have a rear license plate.
 
The deputy then tried a traffic stop on the motorcycle without a plate. However, the driver failed to yield. Deputies pursued the motorcycle for about 28 miles. Afterward, the California Highway Patrol Garberville Division took over the pursuit.
 
At around 10:30 p.m., deputies received notification that the motorcycle crashed near the 5400 block of Briceland-Thorne Road. Sally, who drove it, had fled into a nearby vegetation.
 
Officials deployed the California Department of Fish and Wildlife K9 Link and they successfully apprehended Sally. After that, they searched his belongings and found drug paraphernalia.
 
Authorities then booked Dylan Sally into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility on multiple charges.
