SONOMA COUNTY, CA (June 1, 2021) – Officers arrested a DUI driver following a head-on accident on Bennett Valley Road on May 27.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near Enterprise Road around 8:15 AM.
 
Based on a report, two vehicles were in the lanes at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the Acura sedan crossed over double-yellow lines into opposite traffic. Subsequently, it collided with the Toyota Tacoma head-on. Then, the pickup overturned onto the side of the road.
 
As a result, emergency crews sent the occupants of the truck to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for injuries that were minor to moderate. Medics also evaluated the suspect at the hospital before officers took him into custody on suspicion of felony DUI.
