Driver OK After Train Strikes Cement Truck near Florence Avenue in Inglewood

 
INGLEWOOD, CA (February 20, 2023) — A driver survived after a train hit a cement truck near Florence Avenue and Cedar Avenue.
 
According to reports, the train accident happened around 6:30 p. m. near CEMEX Inglewood Concrete Plant. For unknown reasons, a cement truck stalled on the tracks right before a K-Line Metro train slammed into the commercial vehicle. The impact caused the cement truck to topple onto its side.
 
The driver, however, was not seriously injured. Footage from the scene showed a cement truck on its side and a train with a cracked windshield.
 
Due to the crash, the K-Line Metro service was compromised.
 
No other information was available.
