FRESNO, CA (February 20, 2023) — A woman died in a pedestrian accident near Palm Avenue and Ferger Avenue Friday morning.
 
According to news reports, the deadly pedestrian accident happened around 6:00 a.m. As a woman was pushing a shopping cart near Palm Avenue and Ferger Avenue, a driver struck her. Officers arrived soon after and interviewed the driver.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics quickly rushed the woman to a hospital. However, despite life-saving efforts, she died from her injuries.
