DUI Driver Involved in Accident on Sea World Drive in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 1, 2022) – A driver and his passenger suffered injuries in a DUI accident in the 200 block of Sea World Drive on February 28.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened shortly before 5:30 PM.
 
Based on a report, the 34-year-old man was driving his 2004 Mercedes-Benz eastbound on Sea World at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, he failed to negotiate a curve and drove off the road. In the end, San Diego police Officer John Buttle said the car hit a tree.
 
As a result, the man suffered a broken foot. In addition, his 28-year-old male passenger lost consciousness after the crash. He also suffered a broken leg. Paramedics sent both victims to the hospital for treatment.
