STOCKTON, CA (December 12, 2022) — A driver evading police died after a pursuit crash on Lincoln Street on Friday, December 9.
 
According to reports, deputies began chasing a vehicle that drove recklessly near Charter Way and South Harrison Street. The entire chase was within city limits.
 
The pursuit ended when the driver later crashed at Lincoln Street and Scotts Avenue.
 
First responders rushed the driver to the hospital where he died of their injuries. Officials have not released the identity of the driver pending notification of loved ones.
