Driver Dies, Jeep and Big Rig Crash on Highway 138 in Antelope Valley

 
ANTELOPE VALLEY, CA (April 11, 2023) — A driver died in a Jeep and big rig accident on Highway 138 near 110th Street.
 
According to police officers, the deadly two-vehicle collision happened around 5:41 p.m. Monday. For an unknown reason, a Jeep reportedly crashed and involved a big rig. Responding emergency personnel found the big rig overturned on its side with debris spilling out of the top of its trailer.
 
Ariel footage captured firefighters attempting to remove a body from the mangled Jeep.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, several people required hospital care and were airlifted out of the scene.
 
Reports did not note the fatal victim’s name, but officials will release this information and more once they investigate.
