Driver Suffered Injuries in Hit-and-Run Accident on 118 Freeway and Topanga Canyon Boulevard

 
CHATSWORTH, CA (February 3, 2022) — A driver sustained injuries after a hit-and-run crash on 118 Freeway on Monday, January 31.
 
According to investigators, the incident took place on the 118 Freeway and Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
 
California Highway Patrol said that a driver drove recklessly before he collided into a freeway sign near the on-ramp to the 118 Freeway.
 
After the crash, the driver reportedly jumped out of the car. Then he took off running down an embankment onto Topanga Canyon Boulevard. That’s when officials said another driver struck him.
 
Medics rushed the suspected hit-and-run driver to the hospital with severe injuries.
 
The other driver involved in the incident with the suspect stayed at the scene and cooperated with the officers.
 
Both the CHP and Los Angeles Police Department investigates the crash.
