Driver Hospitalized, Car Crashes Into Chico Towing Business on Esplanade

 
CHICO, CA (October 9, 2023) — A driver suffered major injuries after a car crashed into a towing company building on Esplanade near Rio Lindo Avenue.
 
According to Chico police officers, the single-car crash happened around 5:00 p.m. Friday. For an unknown reason, a driver lost control and crashed into a portable building at 2303 Esplanade. The company, Chuck Patterson Towing, sustained damage in the accident.
 
Shortly after, paramedics responded to the scene and took the driver of the vehicle to a nearby hospital for treatment of major injuries.
