Dirk Couvson Severely Hospitalized in Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Crash near Arden Way and Harvard Street

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (January 12, 2024) — Dirk Couvson suffered critical injuries in a hit-and-run motorcycle accident near Arden Way and Harvard Street.
 
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the deadly hit-and-run happened around 11:00 p.m. Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, someone struck 20-year-old Couvson and left the scene of the crash. Subsequently, paramedics arrived and took him to UC Davis hospital’s ICU. Some time after the hit-and-run, medics reportedly amputated his foot and leg.
 
As of Tuesday evening, authorities had not apprehended the driver.
