Diosdado Tzintzunespindo Arrested in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Morton Avenue [Downtown Los Angeles, CA]

SUV Driver Crashes into 10 Vehicles in Rampage near Downtown LA

 
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, CA (May 7, 2023) – Diosdado Tzintzunespindo was arrested in a multi-vehicle crash in downtown Los Angeles Monday last week on May 1.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the 37-year-old suspect from Temecula engaged in a series of assaults with his silver 2004 Nissan Xterra on multiple victims throughout the Elysian Park and Chinatown areas. He purposely rammed into at least 10 vehicles, including some parked cars.
 
Police identified more than 13 victims, including an LAPD employee who was returning from a lunch break and a Department of Water and Power employee.
 
Around 3:00 p.m., police arrested Tzintzunespindo on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, with bail set at $440,000.
 
Details about the suspect’s motive were not immediately available. Further investigation is underway.
