Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Involved in Eureka Car Crash on F Street near Harris Street

EUREKA, CA (January 10, 2023) – A Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office deputy was involved in a three-vehicle accident on F Street, Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Eureka Police Department, the incident happened at about 2:38 p.m. For reasons still under investigation, a Ford SUV and two other vehicles collided near the intersection of F Street and Harris Street.

The collision reportedly blocked the no. 1 southbound lane of F Street.

As per reports, the Ford SUV sustained major rear-end damage. Responders requested tow trucks for the SUV and for the deputy’s vehicle.

It is unknown if any of the drivers involved suffered injuries.

Eureka police continue to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
