Motorcyclist Suffers Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 23, 2023) – Daniel Pratt was injured in a hit-and-run crash in San Diego Sunday afternoon on April 16.
 
The crash happened around 4:00 p.m. on B Street at Tenth Avenue. According to the San Diego Police Department, the 38-year-old victim from San Diego was on his way to work when he rode through the intersection at the wrong time.
 
A wrong-way driver in a white Honda Accord ran a red light at the intersection and struck Pratt. The suspect then took off after the crash.
 
Pratt flew over the car and hit the concrete, nearly splitting his motorcycle in half. Paramedics took him to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large. Police said they will be facing misdemeanor hit-and-run charges whenever they are caught.
 
An investigation is underway.
