Morning Two-Vehicle Crash in Rio Linda Kills Sacramento Woman

 
RIO LINDA, CA (December 22, 2022) – Cynthia Raye Issel was killed in a two-vehicle accident Rio Linda Thursday morning on December 15.
 
The accident happened around 10:45 a.m. at Elkhorn Boulevard and Camelot Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, Issel was driving a sedan when she collided with a red pickup truck. After the impact, the sedan then struck a fence in the area.
 
Firefighters & paramedics freed the Sacramento woman from the wreckage. However, she suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
 
The Sacramento County Coroner identified the victim on its website.
 
Meanwhile, the condition of the other driver was unknown.
 
Elkhorn Boulevard was closed for approximately 2 hours for the investigation.
