Cristian Cruz Detained in DUI 2-Car Crash on Highway 14 near Placerita Canyon Road

 
NEWHALL, CA (February 3, 2023) — Cristian Cruz faces charges in a DUI 2-car accident on Highway 14 near Placerita Canyon Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol New Hall Area Office, the two-vehicle crash happened on the southbound side of the highway on Sunday night. For DUI reasons, 24-year-old Cruz crashed his Toyota Corolla into a vehicle, further injuring two victims in the other car.
 
Soon after, police arrived and arrested Cruz for DUI and booked him into Santa Clarita Valley sheriff station with the bill set to $100,000.
