SAN FRANCISCO, CA (February 3, 2023) — One person was injured in a 19-car pileup on Highway 101 near Cesar Chavez Street.
 
According to California Highway Patrol officers, the multi-vehicle collision, which comprised about six collisions, happened around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday. Multiple drivers crashed just south of the Cesar Chavez Street off-ramp. However, only one person reported minor injuries and their injuries were not visible, reports said. Otherwise, the scene was filled with damaged cars and chaotic traffic for people trying to get through.
