Christopher Milchen Charged after Injuring Police Officer on F Street in Oakdale
OAKDALE, CA (August 4, 2021) – Police arrested Christopher Milchen after dragging a police officer on F Street on July 30.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at the Save Mart near South Maag Avenue shortly after 12:00 PM.
Based on reports, the Oakdale officer arrived at the scene to check reports of a man slumped over in a driver’s seat. Then, he approached the car and made contact with 36-year-old Christopher Milchen. Due to unknown reasons, Milchen put the car in reverse, trapping the officer between the car and the open driver’s door. Subsequently, the car dragged the officer.
As a result, the officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the incident.
Then, Milchen got out of the car near Sierra and Knox roads and ran away.
In the end, officers arrested him. At this point, this incident is still under investigation.
