Alcohol and other altering substances in the body reduces your ability to make coordinated decisions. So never drive while intoxicated. When going out, plan alternative ways to get home. Designate a driver who has not been drinking. Use public transport or request a paid ride home. You can also ask a friend or a family member to come and pick you up. Better yet, stay the night until you are sober to operate a vehicle.
