Motorcyclist Dies after Crashing into Car at Manning and De Wolf Avenues

 
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (March 8, 2024) – Christopher Garner was killed in a motorcycle accident in Fresno County early Thursday morning on March 7.

The fatal accident happened around 4:40 a.m. at Manning Avenue and De Wolf Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, Garner was riding his Honda motorcycle westbound at a high rate of speed.

For unknown reasons, he failed to notice the car ahead of him and failed to slow down, ultimately crashing into the rear of that vehicle.

The impact of the crash ejected Garner onto the shoulder of the road. He was rushed to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. He was a 35-year-old Fresno resident.

The involved vehicle drove off from the scene.

It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor in this crash. Further investigation is underway.
