Christina Rubio Dies in Solo-Car Crash on Roberts Lane at Sequoia Drive

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (November 3, 2023) — Christina Rubio died in a rollover accident on Roberts Lane at Sequoia Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-vehicle crash happened around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday. For unknown reasons, a man operating a 2002 Ford made an unsafe turn onto Roberts Lane East. Subsequently, the right tire of the Ford truck plowed into a concrete curb, causing the vehicle to overturn.
 
At some point during the crash, 53-year-old Christina Rubio, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected. She suffered fatal injuries in the car accident. As for the 39-year-old driver, he reported only minor injuries in the accident.
