Christina Rodriguez Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Car on 10 Freeway near 8th Street

 
BANNING, CA (March 20, 2024) — Christina Rodriguez died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on the 10 Freeway near 8th Street.
 
According to California Highway Patrol officers, the hit-and-run happened on March 13 around 12:30 a.m. For some reason, 29-year-old Rodriguez was walking in the middle of the eastbound lanes. Subsequently, a driver struck her at an unconfirmed speed, hurling her onto the No. 4 lane. Instead of stopping, the motorist left the scene.
 
Minutes later, emergency personnel arrived and found her on the freeway where she died.
