Traffic Accident at Third and Harrison Streets in San Francisco Sends CHP Motorcycle Officer to Hospital

 
SAN FRANCISCO, CA (September 6, 2023) – A CHP motorcycle officer was injured in a traffic accident at Third Street and Harrison Street in San Francisco on Sunday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 3:00 p.m. on September 3. According to the San Francisco Police Department, a Cadillac sedan and the motorcycle officer collided for unknown reasons. The impact ejected the officer from his bike.
 
Paramedics responded and took the officer to San Francisco Zuckerberg General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The driver of a Cadillac remained on scene and cooperated with officers. They were also taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
 
Fortunately, both the motorcycle officer and the driver are expected to recover.
