OAKLAND, CA (December 11, 2023) — A Thursday afternoon pursuit by the San Francisco police ended in a fiery crash at 7th Street and West Grand Avenue in Oakland.
 
The string of events started around 2 p.m. when officers responded to a robbery on Grant Street in Chinatown and subsequently located a vehicle matching the suspects’ description.
 
Efforts to conduct a traffic stop proved futile as the suspect vehicle refused to yield, initiating a police pursuit.
