Child Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Lost Canyon Road in Santa Clarita
SANTA CLARITA, CA (June 16, 2022) — A child was injured in a pedestrian accident on Lost Canyon Road at Canyon Park Boulevard on Wednesday night.
According to Supervisor Michael Pittman with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the incident happened around 9:00 p.m. When officers received word of a traffic collision near the intersection, they responded to find that a child had been hurt.
Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck the child at the intersection. Upon responding, emergency personnel transported the victim to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
At this time, authorities have not confirmed the leading cause of the accident. However, anyone with information should reach out to the authorities.
