HESPERIA, CA (February 3, 2023) — A child was among two people injured in a 2-car crash on the 15 Freeway near Main Street.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, CHP officers and San Bernardino Fire Department officials received calls about a crash around 3:53 p.m. Thursday. Upon responding, officials found a dark gray four-door Honda sedan on its roof with major front-end damage. In addition, they found a white GMC Yukon SUV with major front-end damage.
 
Emergency personnel treated one person with cuts to their face and a toddler with minor injuries. Shortly after an hour, officials reopened all lanes, but traffic was backed up all the way to Palmdale Road.
 
At this time, authorities do not know the liabilities and events leading to the crash. Although, an investigation into the crash should confirm any unclear details.
