Child Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Residential Neighborhood of Furst Street in Lucerne Valley

 
LUCERNE VALLEY (November 11, 2023) – A child was hit and killed by a vehicle on Furst Street in Lucerne Valley Friday afternoon on November 10.
 
The fatal crash happened in a residential neighborhood in the 32000 block of Furst Street, just near Ox Bow Road. According to the CHP, a vehicle struck the child in unclear circumstances.
 
San Bernardino County Fire crews responded and found the child unresponsive. They immediately initiated life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
The identity of the child has not yet been released.
 
At this time, CHP officials are still investigating the fatality.
