Damage Sustained in Accident on Polk Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (August 25, 2021) – Police responded after a car slammed into a house in an accident on Polk Avenue on August 23.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near McKinley Avenue shortly before 11:00 AM.
 
Based on reports, the driver admitted that he was not looking at the road prior to the crash. Then, he missed a corner and crashed into the house.
 
As a result, photographs of the site showed serious damage to the front wall of the house. Fortunately, there was no report of any injuries.
 
Investigators said the driver did not have a valid driver’s license. At this point, the Fresno Police Department still investigating this accident on Polk Avenue.
