Brian Valenzuela, Paul Skifter Hospitalized in DUI 2-Vehicle Crash on Highway 108 near Atlas Road

 
OAKDALE, CA (August 17, 2023) — Brian Valenzuela and Paul Skifter suffered major injuries in a DUI two-car accident on Highway 108 near Atlas Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the two-car collision happened around 9:20 p.m. Monday.
 
Per reports, Paul Skifter began turning left in his eastbound Tesla. Subsequently, a westbound high-speeding Ford Mustang, driven by Brian Valenzuela, crashed into Skifter’s Tesla despite efforts to avoid the crash.
 
Both 19-year-old Valenzuela and 38-year-old Skifter suffered major injuries. Minutes later, paramedics took both patients to a hospital in Modesto.
 
According to an investigation, CHP officers learned that DUI played a role and arrested Skifter. It appears DUI and speed might have played a factor in the crash.
