Santa Ana Street Takeover at West 17th and North King Streets Injures One

 
SANTA ANA, CA (August 17, 2023) – A spectator was injured in a street takeover at West 17th Street and North King Street in Santa Ana Thursday evening last week.
 
The street takeover happened around 10:30 p.m. on August 10, when a number of vehicles converged to engage in stunts.
 
During the takeover that lasted about 30 minutes, a vehicle struck a spectator at the intersection. The accident caused the involved vehicles to flee the scene before the Santa Ana police arrive.
 
The injured spectator took off from the scene without the assistance of medics. The extent of their injuries was unknown.
