57-Year-Old Woman Dies after Struck by Vehicle in Jurupa Valley

 
JURUPA VALLEY, CA (August 7, 2023) – Bonnie Leue was killed in a pedestrian accident in Jurupa Valley early Friday morning on August 4.
 
The fatal accident happened around 12:30 a.m. on southbound Van Buren Boulevard at Bellegrave Avenue. According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a vehicle struck Leue in the intersection in unclear circumstances.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and pronounced Leue dead at the scene.
 
Leue was 57 years old from Jurupa Valley.
 
The driver of the vehicle was not injured and stayed on scene.
 
No arrest was made at time, but the crash is still under investigation.
 
Deputies asked anyone with further information to contact the sheriff’s Jurupa Valley station at 951-955-2600.
