Vehicle Fatally Strikes Bicyclist on Club Center Drive in Natomas

 
NATOMAS, CA (June 12, 2024) – A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle at Club Center Drive and Banfield Drive in Natomas on Tuesday morning.
 
The fatal crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on June 11. According to the Sacramento Police Department, the bicyclist suffered significant injuries when an unknown vehicle struck them.
 
Paramedics arrived and rushed the bicyclist to a hospital, where the victim later died.
 
The identity of the bicyclist was not immediately available.
 
Meanwhile, the driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers.
 
Neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in the crash, which is still under investigation.
