Biker Sustains Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on North Chester Avenue in Oildale

 
OILDALE, CA (September 7, 2022) – A bicyclist was injured in a hit-and-run crash at North Chester Avenue and East Moneta Avenue on Thursday evening last week.
 
The crash happened around 7:51 p.m. on September 1. According to the California Highway Patrol, the bicyclist was hit by a black vehicle at the intersection.
 
After the crash, the driver did not stop to render aid.
 
Responding paramedics found the bicyclist lying down in the roadway. They transported the victim to a hospital with unspecified injuries.
