Junenile on Bicycle Sustains Injuries after Struck by Hit-and-Run Car on Snyder Lane in Rohnert Park

 
ROHNERT PARK, CA (October 10, 2022) – A bicyclist was hurt in a hit-and-run crash on Snyder Lane in Rohnert Park on Wednesday morning, October 5.
 
The crash happened around 7:40 a.m. at the Copeland Creek Trail crossing. According to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety, a light blue or purple sedan or small SUV struck the juvenile who was riding a bicycle on Snyder Lane.
 
Witnesses told the driver to remain at the scene. However, she drove off south on Snyder Lane before emergency responders arrived.
 
Authorities described the suspect as an Asian woman about 50 years old, with shoulder-length black and gray hair.
 
The bicyclist suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
 
At this time, authorities are still looking for the hit-and-run suspect. An investigation is ongoing.
