SAN LORENZO, CA (February 13, 2024) – A bicyclist was fatally struck by a train at West Blossom Way and Times Avenue in San Lorenzo on Monday afternoon.
 
The fatal crash happened around 2:47 p.m. on February 12. According to reports, the Amtrak train struck the bicyclist in unclear circumstances.
 
Emergency crews responded and pronounced the bicyclist dead at the scene.
 
The identity of the victim was withheld pending next of kin notification.
